Как то попался на глаза и на уши клип на аниме «Ouran High School Host Club» на странную песню «If You Were Gay» (Если бы ты был геем) и эта песенка уж сильно запала в душу, не только содержанием, но и исполнением. Исполнение больше напоминала бродвейские мюзиклы и вобщем захотелось узнать исполнителей и заодно выяснить может у них есть что-то ещё в репертуаре. Выяснилось что эта коллектив «Avenue Q», и есть целый сборник песен весьма цинично высмеивающие различные темы современной жизни, достаточно назвать такие названия как «Как отстойно быть мной» или «Интернет существует для порно»…хе-хе-хе… Но при всей пошловатости все песни исполнены прекрасным вокалом и если вы вообще дружите с английским то я бы советовал всем достать это чудо и прослушать.
Но смех смехом, но было странно услышать в этом альбоме что-то действительно лирическое, сопливое и трогающее…
